If you have been told you are a victim of chronic pain, pain due to injury,
or pain due to surgery, you can find relief through hypnosis. The power

simply put there to help you find your way here. We call this program
"Managing Discomfort". Here is why. Please consider the following words:
Pain. DISCOMFORT!
Reading them, you may have experienced some physiological response
to one or both of those words. Most likely you experienced some degree
of emotional response. Which word created a more negative response for
you? Even with the emphasis on the word discomfort you probably had a
greater reaction to the word pain. You have been programmed throughout
your entire lifetime that pain is a traumatic, dreadful, suffering, occurrence.
Discomfort, on the other hand, means the same thing but it doesn’t have
the same emotional effects on us. So even if you choose to never call me,
leave your pain right here, right now. What you are feeling, henceforth, is
discomfort. That feeling in your back, in you your hands, in your head…you
are now feeling discomfort. Most people, simply by taking this small step of
changing the word, feel some degree of instant relief.
Changing the word
changes the thought,
which changes the feeling,
which changes the outcome.
Do not let anyone else put this word to you either. Not your doctor, not your
family, and not your friends. No one.
“How’s your back pain?”
“It’s gone. I’m feeling some discomfort today though.”
“On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your pain?”
“A zero. But my discomfort is about a 6.”
