What does it take to make a champion? The attributes of those who have risen to the top of their game in both amateur and professional athletics are always a constant.

  • A relentless commitment.
  • Superb physical conditioning.
  • Unwavering mental control.

Now if you have failed to reach a goal in athletics, or have lost a contest or game, there can only be two possible reasons for that.

  1. You (or your team) were bested by an opponent who surpassed you in one or more of those attributes, while matching you in the others.

  2. or

  3. You (or your team) broke down mentally and were defeated by an opponent who either matched you in those skills or was inferior to you in one of more of those skills.

That’s it. Believe it. These games we play are won and lost in our minds. When a skater falls, when a golfer puts one in a bunker, when a bowler misses the pocket, or when a fullback misses a block, they have just failed themselves mentally. Some may ask, what about a breakdown in one of the two remaining attributes? Let’s examine that briefly.

  • Commitment- For some reason you decide you do not want to win. Because of fear, or other ambitions, you simply quit. That was either a mental failure or a long overdue reevaluation of your life’s goals.

  • Physical Conditioning- Your body gave out or you sustained an injury. Possibly not mental mistakes but you must ask yourself why. Why did you sustain that injury? Did you push too hard? Did you hold back because you were afraid? Did you miscalculate an opponent? Did you take an unnecessary risk? Did you lose your focus?

So whether you are participating in sports on a competitive level or simply for recreation, our sports performance enhancement program can help you actualize your true athletic potential. Our program consists of two sessions. This is one of our longer programs as we are doing something here that we do not regularly do in the others. We are going to teach you self-hypnosis.

Now this may cause a bit of confusion as I have said elsewhere on this site that all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. That is one of our industry buzz-phrases that is intended to suggest that the hypnotist is merely a facilitator in your hypnosis and you are actually doing all the work.

In contrast, our sports enhancement program teaches you to hypnotize yourself, in both trance and waking states, without the assistance of a hypnotist. No tapes, no videos, no phone. Our techniques will help you:

  • Control performance anxiety and pre-performance nervousness
  • Expand your game by enhancing sensory awareness
  • Instantly refocus after mental lapses of anxiety or anger
  • Enhance performance skills
  • Increase and maintain self-confidence
  • Develop unmatched muscular control
  • Control sports arousal (aggression)
  • Focus motivation and commitment
  • Control internal dialogue
  • Block out external distractions
  • Enhance visual imagery techniques

Give us a call and let us help you realize your full sports potential.
